One app for the whole shift

Every part works on its own, and they share the same roster, units and calls, so nothing gets typed twice. Screens below show a demo department.

Schedule screen listing upcoming AM and PM shifts with partners

Scheduling

Build the month in minutes and let members fix their own holes.

  • Members mark availability for the month from their phone.
  • Auto-fill places people by rank, driver status and position, then you adjust.
  • Trades, pick-ups and callbacks: an open seat goes out and the first qualified member to tap gets it.
  • Hours, overtime and call counts per pay period, ready to export for payroll.

Call alerts and the run log

Everyone sees the call, and everyone sees who's coming.

  • New calls reach every phone's lock screen, with a tone when the app is open.
  • One tap for responding, en route, on scene and in quarters. The times build the run log.
  • The crew on shift is attached automatically, and anyone who arrives is added.
  • Map and navigation, notes and photos, and a printable run report.
Station screen with unit status, a limited ambulance and the shift log

Station board and rig checks

Know what's in service before the tones drop.

  • Every unit's status at a glance: in service, limited or out of service, with the reason.
  • Daily and pre-shift rig checks on a phone, with readings like SCBA pressure and tank level.
  • A failed critical item takes the unit out of service, opens an issue and tells the officers.
  • A shift log for the things the next crew needs to know.
NERIS incident report showing required fields marked NERIS and the OSFM due date

NERIS incident reports

Reports that start themselves and tell you what's missing.

  • Filled in from the call: run number, address, units and their times.
  • Every field shows who requires it: NERIS, Illinois, or your department.
  • A report can't be marked ready until it would pass NERIS. An officer's approval locks it.
  • Illinois State Fire Marshal due dates, fire-death alerts, and a printable NERIS entry sheet.

Dispatch console

Your dispatch center creates calls straight into your department's alerts and watches who is responding.

Radio

Your scanner feed one tap away from the schedule and the call screen.

Messages and requests

Department and officer threads, time-off and trade requests, all in the same app.

Put Brigid on the TV in the bay or the day room. Any smart TV, streaming stick or spare laptop with a web browser can run it.

  • Who's on duty now, with the on-call officer.
  • Every unit's status, and the reason when one is limited or out of service.
  • Active calls take over the screen with the address, map and who's responding.
  • The shift log and today's open rig checks, so nothing gets missed at shift change.

Brigid is built by people who carry the pager, for the way small departments actually run: short-staffed, on call, and out the door in under a minute.

Brigid is named for the Irish saint of the hearth fire and of healers: fire and EMS under one name.
